Hi, I’m Inez.
I’m a woman redeemed by grace, healed by love, and set free by Christ.
After years of battling alcoholism, and walking through deep valleys, I now live in recovery and in the light of His mercy.
This blog is my open journal. I write to encourage others who feel broken, overlooked, or stuck in the cycles they can’t break. Your not alone. And You’re not too far gone.
Jesus meets us right where we are—we don’t have to be polished up to come to Him. He comes into our mess, not after we’re clean, but while we’re still covered in ashes. That’s what makes His grace so amazing.

“Bound as I was, not with another man’s irons, but by my own iron will. My will the enemy held, and thence had made a chain for me, and bound me. For of a froward will, was lust made, and lust thus served became custom not registered became necessity. By which links, as it were, joined together (whence I called it a chain) a hard bondage had me enthralled.”
-Augustine, Confessions, Book 8
If you’d like to connect, ask a question, or share part of your own journey, I welcome that.
